Notes
The Notes Tab of the case assists users in keeping track of any changes or updates made to the case. User will be able to create a new note, by clicking on the New Note icon located at the upper right hand corner of the screen as seen below:
When the new note icon has been clicked, the below screen opens:
Counselor would then enter the information regarding what type of note has been selected from the log type drop down menu. Counselor enters the information, the Sharing drop down menu should be left as Internal, unless counselor would like servicer to see the same note, after the case has been submitted, then Shared would need to be selected. Also a maximum has been provided, so if counselor cannot save the note, then the note entry has exceeded the maximum and note would need to be condensed or summarized to be saved to the case.
Once the new note has been created and saved, user will be taken back to the notes screen and the new note is listed.
If for any reason, an update needs to be made to the same note, user can click on the change button under the Actions column and make the necessary changes and then click on the Save button.
Also user has the option to print the specific note, if needed by clicking Print under the Actions column or could print all the notes by clicking Print All Notes as seen above.
If counselor unable to create note, make sure 'Add' privilege is assigned to role as seen below:
Then counselor will be able to create and save notes to a case.
Also counselors have the option to add notes directly from any screen of the case, instead of going to notes tab, just by clicking on 'Add Note' as seen below:
When 'Add Note' is clicked the below window opens:
